Construction Underway for Celeste at 401 Cypress Avenue in South San Francisco

Construction is moving along for Celeste at 401 Cypress Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. Devcon Construction, the general contractor, has completed the concrete podium is now about halfway up to the eight-story pinnacle. The concrete and wood site overlooks the already-opened Bell South City apartments, built by the same developer, Sares Regis Group.

Construction has Topped Out for 198 McAllister Street in San Francisco

Construction has topped out for the 14-story UC Law San Francisco development at 198 McAllister Street in San Francisco’s Civic Center neighborhood. The project represents phase two of the Academic Village redevelopment of the city block. The project is a joint venture with the UCSF College of the Law San Francisco and Greystar. Once complete, it will provide dorms, classrooms, and a variety of facilities by the summer of 2023.

Official Groundbreaking for 1510 Webster Street Tower in Downtown Oakland

oWow has officially broken ground on what will become the tallest timber building on the West Coast. The developer held a ceremony yesterday afternoon at 1510 Webster Street in Downtown Oakland, with members of the project team, the community, and city officials in attendance. The project will rise 19 floors with over two hundred homes. Speaking with YIMBY, oWow President Andrew Ball shared the company’s ambitious timeline for completion in 16 months.
