Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project at 5484 Bancroft Avenue in Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a new three-unit residential facility, replacing an existing single-story 3,112 sqaure-foot non residental building damanged in fire. Elpidio Ramos is the project applicant.
Progress is being made on Willow Village, a 59-acre mixed-use urban development proposed by Facebook’s owner, Meta, in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The Draft Environmental Impact Report was published last week, making an essential step towards approval, and the project team has announced new refinements based on community feedback. Signature Development Group is the project developer.
New plans have been revealed for a seven-story residential infill located across from the Sacramento Bee headquarters in Midtown Sacramento. The project will replace surface parking and two low-slung commercial structures with over two hundred homes. The property owner and project developer are not listed.
A new residential project will soon be seen developing at the site of 1601 Alemany Boulevard in Excelsior, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a three-story building offering residential spaces and onsite amenities. Plans call for the demolition of an existing single-story dental office on the site. MH is responsible for the design concepts.
Swinerton crews have topped off The Canyon, the tallest residential tower in San Francisco to reach the milestone in 2022. The Canyon is a 23-story residential tower rising on Parcel A in the Mission Rock development along the Mission Bay waterfront. The master plan by Mission Rock Partners, a joint venture between the San Francisco Giants and Tishman Speyer, is replacing 28 acres of former surface parking with over a thousand units of housing, offices, retail, and new public parks.
