New renderings have been revealed for the historic preservation and redevelopment of 220 9th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The most recent plans show that the project aims to create 64 homes for ownership, including a dozen units of affordable housing. W Y Developer, a small Redwood City-based firm, is responsible for the project.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project at 1230 Revere Avenue in Bayview, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new three-story residence with one ADU at the ground floor. Syncopated Architecture is responsible for the design concepts.
Aerial renderings have been provided for the West Oakland Mandela BART Station development, spanning 5.58 acres around 1451 7th Street. The development hopes to create new homes, a life science laboratory, thriving retail, and a network of public open spaces to reshape former surface parking into a new urban heart for the burgeoning area. The project is a joint development dubbed CHEC-SUDA-Hensel Phelps.
The preliminary project assessment application has been filed for an eleven-story residential infill at 530 Turk Street, located in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. The application expects to benefit from the state density bonus and Cars-to-Casas ordinance, both programs to increase the amount of affordable housing. The property is currently used as a parking lot.

The project proposal includes the development of a mixed-use building offering residential and retail spaces. The site sits adjacent to a vacant lot and a small sandwich shop on the site will be demolished. Fumio Suda Architect is responsible for the design concepts.
