Plans are underway for two new apartment buildings to replace surface parking owned by the Cathedral of Faith Church at 2315 Canoas Garden Avenue in South San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project will create 237 new affordable apartments with dedicated services. Sand Hill Property Company is the project developer.
New plans have been filed for a single-unit structure at 384 Holladay Street in Peralta Heights, San Francisco. The project will fill in a narrow vacant lot with a design by TK Workshop. Salvio Street LLC is listed as the property owner.
A recent site visit to Treasure Island by YIMBY reveals significant progress has been made for the region’s most active construction project. Cranes and rising concrete have only started to divulge the scale of the 405-acre vision, nearly three decades in the making, that will redevelop San Francisco’s storied artificial island with a mixed-use urban neighborhood populated by around eight thousand homes. The Treasure Island Community Development joint venture sponsors the project.
A new housing project has been approved for construction at 231 Grant Avenue in Mayfield District, Palo Alto. The project proposal includes building 110 apartments for teachers and staff members at Santa Clara and San Mateo County schools. The project is sponsored by the County of Santa Clara, Facebook, the City of Palo Alto, and participating school districts in Santa Clara County. Mercy Housing California and Abode Communities are managing the development. Van Meter Williams Pollack LLC is responsible for the designs.
Building permits have been submitted seeking the approval of remodeling a residence at 145 19th Street in Richmond, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the modification of the existing building with a rear addition. The project also includes interior renovations on the first and second floors. Gutierrez Associates Architects is responsible for the remodeling designs.
