The official groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday afternoon for Avia Labs, a new life sciences project at 210 Adrian Road in Millbrae, San Mateo County. Once complete, the six-story project will open up in a burgeoning district, with direct access to the Millbrae BART and Caltrain Station through an underpass. Longfellow Real Estate Partners is the project sponsor.
Preliminary drawings have been published for the 39-story residential proposal at 2044 Franklin Street in Downtown Oakland, Alameda County. The application shows a rough estimate of how a new residential tower could fit within the city’s urban core, creating an estimated 425 apartments above commercial space. The application was filed by Village Glen Oakland 2, LLC, linked to R2 Building.
Imwalle Properties is just two days away from possible approval by the city of San Jose for the proposed 15-story commercial office infill at 250 Stockon Avenue by Diridon Station, Santa Clara County. The project will create nearly a million square feet of new office space within Google’s proposed Downtown West master plan. But as the tech giant has delayed the start of its further urban expansion, so is the initial early 2024 groundbreaking for 250 Stockton Avenue.
New plans have been filed to modernize and expand a commercial infill along 838 Market Street in the Union Square neighborhood in San Francisco. The plans include facade alterations, interior renovations, moving the elevator shaft, and creating an additional office floor. Aralon Properties is the project sponsor.
Crews have finished the concrete foundation pour at 1510 Webster Street in Downtown Oakland for the future 19-story mass timber tower. The project has been designed and developed by Oakland-based oWOW and will eventually become the tallest mass timber building on the West Coast and the second tallest in the country. Once complete, the development will create 222 new homes above commercial and retail space.
