Preliminary Plans Published for 250 Stockton Avenue by Diridon Station, San Jose

Yet another high-rise proposal demonstrates the gravitational pull for Diridon Station and Google’s Downtown West project in San Jose. Steinberg Hart and Imwalle Properties have announced plans for 250 Stockton Avenue, a 16-story office tower, to replace a single-story commercial structure within walking distance of the future end-of-line for the Silicon Valley BART extension. The proposal aims to capitalize on the district’s urban qualities and access to public transit.

Construction Wrapped Up for Gateway of Pacific Phase Two and Three in East Side, South San Francisco

Construction is wrapping up for the third of five phases on Gateway of Pacific in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The project aims to complete with 2.2 million square feet in a laboratory and office campus across 31.5 acres of the city’s office-dominated East Side neighborhood. Number Two: Oceanwide Center at 50 First Street, SoMa, San Francisco

In January of 2021, the Oceanwide Center in San Francisco was expected to become the second tallest tower in the Bay Area. Construction was put on hold in October of 2020, and subsequent issues throughout 2021 have imperiled Oceanwide’s plans. However, foundation work is complete, and there remains hope that a new developer could pick up and finish the highly anticipated 910-foot tower designed by Foster + Partners.

High-Rise Revealed for Lot X, Downtown Sacramento

New plans have been revealed for a multi-structure development with a 30-story tower at Lot X, overlooking the iconic yellow Tower Bridge in Downtown Sacramento. The project, to be addressed as 210 N Street, will create a high-density hub with housing, offices, and retail across from Crocker Park in an existing urban environment. Southern Land Company is responsible for the application.
