New plans have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 20 Sunnyside Avenue in Mill Valley, Marin County. The relatively dense infill will retain the existing two-story offices while adding 12 units close to the central Depot Plaza. The city’s Planning Commission is scheduled to meet tonight.
Preliminary plans have been filed for a 17-story mixed-use tower at 1088 Sansome Street in San Francisco’s Northern Waterfront neighborhood. The development is a block from 955 Sansome Street, where Aralon Properties recently submitted enlarged plans for a similarly-sized infill. The new project shows growing interest in dense housing close to the Financial District, Embarcadero, and Telegraph Hill. Mark Horton Architecture is responsible for the application.
A preliminary application has been submitted supporting a residential project proposed for development at 2730 Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the conversion of an existing office building into a residential building offering multi-unit dwellings. Sutter Capital Group bought the office building.
The San Francisco Parks Department and Planning Commission have unanimously approved the Three Transamerica redevelopment in San Francisco’s Financial District. Three Transamerica, or 545 Sansome Street, is the second phase of SHVO’s billion-dollar investment in the historic office complex with design by Foster + Partners. Its adaptive reuse will create a new gateway for the city’s most iconic skyscraper.
New plans have been revealed for The Rise, a multi-billion dollar proposal to construct over two thousand homes close to Apple Park in Cupertino, Santa Clara County. The project executive for Sand Hill Property Company, Reed Moulds, shared the modifications include more housing units, shorter buildings, and no more record-breaking green roofs. Kohn Pedersen Fox has taken over as the project architect.
