Number 3: Transamerica Pyramid in the Financial District, San Francisco

The third tallest building proposed or built, and the second tower building standing in the Bay Area, is the Transamerica Pyramid, the defining icon for the San Francisco skyline since its completion in 1972. With a rooftop height of 853 feet tall, the pyramid would not be surpassed in height until 2018 with the completion of the Salesforce Tower. William L. New Details Published for SRI International Campus Redevelopment, Menlo Park

New plans have been published for the redevelopment of the SRI International Campus at 333 Ravenswood Avenue in San Mateo County’s Menlo Park. The 63.22-acre project, named Parkline, will redevelopment the campus of SRI International. Founded as an extension of Stanford University, the research institute is most well-known for developing Siri. Lane Partners is the developer.
