The Nova Alianca Hall in San Jose has been sold by the Portuguese marching band society to Intelli, an affiliate of the local developer, Do Van Tron. The property, located at 37 North 27th Street, is close to the prospective 28th Street Little Portugal BART Station. Though the transit connection isn’t expected to open for well over a decade, the new owner is hoping to build dozens of apartments.
Development permits were submitted seeking the approval of a residential project at 2515 Folsom Street in Mission District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story apartment building. Plans call for the demolition of a two-story single-family dwelling on the site. Shatara Architecture Inc is responsible for the design concepts.
The City of Vallejo has approved the plans for new housing at 5180 Sonoma Boulevard. The project will add over four hundred new homes to Solano County’s most populous city. Jackson Square Properties is the project developer.
New permits have been filed to develop a vacant lot at 2222 Carroll Street on Ivy Hill, Oakland. The plan would create nearly two dozen homes on the narrow lot close to Cleveland Heights and 15 minutes from Lake Merritt, an increase from previous plans for 18 units across three structures. Oakland-based Team Projects is responsible for the developer.
