Nearby transit access is offered to BART via Balboa Park Station, as well as MUNI light rail at a station located adjacent to the BART hub.

The long-time home for the iconic Bay Area-based media station at 2601 Mariposa Street, Mission District, is redefining itself to accommodate for their significant growth since purchasing the lot in 1991. While their personality and care for broadcasts have endeared them to the public, their new design invites the public inside. EHDD Architects, also known for the Exploratorium at Pier 15, are responsible for the design.
Permits have been filed for new affordable housing at 730 Stanyan Street in Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco. The project is being handled through the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, while Tenderloin and Chinatown-based community organizations, TNDC & CCDC, will be responsible for development. The project reference Senate Bill 35 and Assembly Bill 1763 to add priority and privileges to the permit.

It sits on one of the outermost edges of the metropolitan area around ranches and large fields. Due to its somewhat remote location, there is no accessible transit in the vicinity of the property.
Construction is quickly rising at 830 Eddy Street, a new residential high-rise in the Fillmore District. The thirteen-story structure is a development by BUILD, one of the most prolific developers in the city. Once complete, it will provide 137 new houses to a quickly-developing neighborhood.
