New building and demolition permits have been filed for a substantial six-story residential building at 3000 San Pablo Avenue in Southwest Berkeley. These permits come just five months after the city council approved development plans. Read Investments is responsible as the property owner and developer.
Mercy Housing has filed for permits to construct affordable residential units on a 7.76 acres property on 4995 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento. The project proposal consists of 200 residential units. If the tickets are approved, Mercy Housing could break ground in eighteen months. The plans show that the proposed project will have 21 residential buildings, a four-story building with commercial and office space on the ground floor, seven three-story buildings with twelve units, and thirteen triplex buildings.
A planning application has been filed for the rehabilitation of 714 Steiner Street, one of the iconic Seven Sisters along Alamo Square in the Western Addition neighborhood in San Francisco. The filing describes eight different alterations to make the two units habitable. While there is no proposed alteration to the front facade, there will be changes to the ground-level entrance, rooftop, and back. David Armour Architecture is responsible for the design, with historical consultation by Architecture + History LLC.
Fleischmann Property LLC is sharing with the public that 921 98th Avenue in Elmhurst Park is heading to the Oakland Planning commission this Wednesday, December 16th. The meeting will discuss the residential project’s preliminary development plans and the Final Development plans (FDP) for the Master Street and Open Space Improvements. The FDP will cover new roads and open spaces that will be produced to benefit the many potential residents. Madison Park is the developer for the project.
Development permits have been filed to construct a multi-family residential building on 1705 Mandela Parkway in Oakland’s Prescott neighborhood. The project features a 25,800 square foot development consisting of thirteen three-story townhome-style residential units. The construction will be done on six lots merged into one. The total site area is 14,668 square feet. Riaz Capital is managing the design and construction; they have been successfully operating in the Bay Area since 1977 and the East Bay multi-family market since 1999.
