Approval Extension Requested for Renzo Piano-designed Tower in San Francisco

While San Francisco’s hotel occupancy rates recover, one developer has filed plans to extend the approval period of the 35-story hotel right across from the Transbay Transit Center. The 2015-filed project would replace three low-slung commercial buildings at 555 Howard Street in SoMa with four hundred hotel rooms and a rooftop POPOS. The application is a joint venture between Pacific Eagle and SKS Partners.

A preliminary application has been submitted for a housing project proposed at 200, 211, and 215 North 16th Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of more than 500 homes.  Bauen Capital is the project developer. BDE Architecture is responsible for the design, with previous designs from Vrilakas Groen. Cunningham Engineering is responsible for landscape architecture.

Permits Filed for Glen at Heath Farm development in Walnut Creek

Building permits have been filed for a 354-unit senior living masterplan at 850 Seven Hills Ranch Road in Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County. The development, named Glen at Heath Farm, will replace thirty acres of undeveloped open land with a four-story apartment structure, a two-story assisted living center, and over four dozen single-family homes. Spieker Senior Development Partners is responsible for the application.
