The project proposal includes the development of a new building for commercial, residential, and office use which will be a part of Emeryville Public Market. Emeryville Holdings LLC is the project applicant. TCA Architects and Hart Howerton are managing the design concept and construction.

The recent application is larger than a previous iteration as it includes affordable housing thanks to the State Density bonus program. Avi Nevo of Segula Investments is responsible for the development, with San Francisco-based Ankrom Moisan Architects responsible for the design.

San Jose City Council is poised to give final approval to construct the 80-acre Downtown West urban development by Google. The proposal would reshape a significant portion of the Diridon Station Area Plan in Downtown San Jose by replacing surface parking and low-density blocks around the SAP Center with a higher density of housing, offices, and retail.
