The preliminary project application has been filed for a 46-story residential tower at 636 4th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The proposal uses the State Density Bonus to include 522 new homes above retail. Detailed renderings have yet to be released.
A new apartment complex has been proposed for development at 1150-1170 Kifer Road in Sunnyvale. The project proposal includes the construction of an eight-story building offering residential units and onsite parking. Two existing office buildings and a surface parking lot will be demolished for the project to proceed. Prometheus Real Estate Group is the project applicant and 1150 Kifer LP is the property owner.
New permits have been approved for a ten-unit residential infill at 1031 62nd Street in North Oakland, Alameda County. The proposal will replace the backyard garage and garden with an eight-unit building and expand the existing structure into four units. Nathanial Klein is responsible for the application and design.
Permitting progress has been documented for a six-story residential infill at 2955 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The proposal has increased slightly to produce 18 homes directly across from the now-demolished former historic laundromat at 2918 Mission and close to BART. Sternberg Benjamin Architects is responsible for the design.
Development permits have been approved, and new building permits are filed for a six-story affordable housing project at 2700 International Boulevard in Fruitvale, Oakland. The proposal will create 75 apartments along with retail and parking. Once built, it will become a neighborhood hub for the project sponsor, the Fruitvale-based Unity Council.
