Developers are moving forward with property sales for the Seely Avenue master plan in North San Jose, Santa Clara County. Hanover Company has reportedly purchased 22.2 acres around 2620 Seely Avenue, with plans to follow through with the recently approved proposal for over a thousand apartments alongside open space and retail. Hanover sold an additional seven acres to SummerHill Homes for the townhome component.
Development permits have been field seeking the approval of a new mixed-use project proposed for development at 1617 J Street in Midtown, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new seven-story building offering spaces for residential and commercial uses. SKK Development is the project applicant. C2K Architecture is responsible for the designs.
Plans have been approved for an eight-story apartment complex at 400 Divisadero Street in San Francisco’s Lower Haight neighborhood. The 203-unit application received ministerial approval via Assembly Bill 2011. 4Terra Investments is the project sponsor.
The lawsuit against the American River One development appears to be subsiding. The project could add 826 new apartments to 450 Bercut Drive on the northwest edge of the Southern Pacific neighborhood in Sacramento. Sacramento-based IM Investments is the project developer.
Permit activity has been spotted for the 15-story affordable senior housing proposal at 1939 Market Street by the Castro, San Francisco. The Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development has filed a planning application to establish a long-term ground lease for Mercy Housing to take control of the site to build housing for residents within the LGBTQ community. Mercy Housing is the project developer.
