Preliminary permits have been submitted alongside new renderings for a five-story housing project at 3900 Geary Boulevard in the Inner Richmond, San Francisco. The plans will expand upon an existing two-story commercial corner lot, retaining the Burger King joint as an anchor tenant. Sunny Ghai, a prolific franchisee of Burger King and Taco Bells across three states, is the property owner.
New building permits have been filed for the market-rate component of 1111 Sutter Street in Lower Nob Hill, San Francisco. The application follows affordable housing permits submitted in late November of last year. Martin Building Company is responsible for the development.
Residential plans are being pursued for 95 Broadway in Fairfax, Marin County. The School Street project, also named the Modera Fairfax, could replace low-slung commercial structures with 243 homes with retail on a two-acre property in the center of town. Mill Creek Residential is the project sponsor.
A new restaurant and entertainment space have been proposed for development at 1815 Market Street in Mission District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of a new rooftop Caribbean cocktail bar and nightclub. Dante Buckley of The Divine Comedy LLC is the owner. Arcsine is responsible for the designs. According to public records, the building’s owner is Siamak Akhavan.
The City of Palo Alto has announced that they will start preparing the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the builder’s remedy-assisted proposal at 156 California Avenue across from the Caltrain Station. The project is expecting to add nearly four hundred homes between two towers, the tallest rising 17 floors, across from the regional transit hub. REDCO Development is the development sponsor for the plans on behalf of the property owners, Mollie Stone’s Market.
