Renderings have been shared along with a new planning document for a residential building at 375 South Baywood Avenue by Santana Row, San Jose. The Mitigated Negative Declaration document shows three low-density residences replaced by an 11-story condominium building as part of the Santana Row/Valley Fair Urban Village. The project developer is Cord Associates.
Commercial Plan Review has been submitted for a new project at 601 Township Nine Avenue in Souther Pacific/ Richards, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the new construction of an apartment complex, a community amenity center, and site improvements. The filed permit seeks approval of the first apartment building and the overall site work.
Construction has topped out with significant facade installation progress made for the six-story mixed-use development at 575 Benton Street in Santa Clara, just over a block away from the Santa Clara University campus. The building will produce hundreds of new residential units along with retail and a public plaza. The Prometheus Real Estate Group is responsible for the project.
The Target Corporation has requested a project review meeting to consider a new retail location in an existing mixed-use building at 1336 Post Street in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco. If built, the new Target would span 34,600 square feet, a significant footprint but is just a third of Target’s typical stores. Given the exploratory condition of the proposal, it is too early to speculate about the broader implications of the project review meeting request.
The office allocation application has been filed for the $400 million three-structure development at 610-698 Brannan Street, i.e., the Flower Mart site, in SoMa, San Francisco. The application pertains to over two million square feet of proposed offices divided between the Market Hall, the Blocks Building, and the Gateway Building. San Francisco-based Kilroy Realty is the project developer.
