Development permits have been filed and approved for a six-story residential development at 2116 Brush Street in Ralph Bunche, West Oakland. The project will transform a currently vacant parcel on Downtown Oakland’s border and just under fifteen minutes walk from the 19th Street Oakland BART station. Oak Brook Partners is responsible for the development, dubbed Villa Oakland.

New building permits have been filed to construct a four-story senior housing building and community center at 70 and 76 North Winchester Boulevard, Santa Clara. These addresses are part of the multi-building mixed-use development dubbed Santa Clara Agrihood. The City entered a private-public partnership with Core Companies to construct 1.5 acres of agriculture connected to 361 homes, of which the City will sell 181 as affordable.

Development permits have been submitted for requesting the approval to convert the existing retail space in 135 Post Street in Lower Nob Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes converting the retail area on levels three, four, five, and six into office use. The conversion will result in 49,000 square feet of retail space being converted into office space. WZ Architecture is manning the design concepts and construction of the project.

Demolition permits have been filed for two structures at 1500 and 1508 S Street to make way for an eight-story residential building at 1500 S Street, Downtown Sacramento. The five-lot parcel contains an existing low slung commercial structure and a single-story house. They will be torn down for the construction of 137 new homes. Anthem Properties is responsible for the development since purchasing the property in 2019 for $5.1 million.
