Transamerica Pyramid Time Capsule Gallery Open To Public

Last week, Michael Shvo showed up to his newly reopened skyscraper to unveil the contents of the once-forgotten time capsule for the Transamerica Pyramid. The memorabilia from the 51-year-old container is now on display inside the Transamerica Annex, revealing a snapshot in San Francisco’s local culture and history related to the controversial addition to the skyline. The gallery is open to the public with access from Washington Street.

Meeting Scheduled for Amendment to Planned Development at Emeryville Marketplace

New Development at Emeryville’s Public Market has been in the works for some time, with the city approving a development agreement for the site in December of 2015. However, the exact plans for Parcels A and B, which abut the railway tracks to the north of the market hall, have been in flux. The meeting on Thursday May 22nd will review revisions to the current project proposal.

Planning Commission To Review 41-Story Proposal at 530 Sansome Street, San Francisco

The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for the 41-story mixed-use tower to be built at 530 Sansome Street in San Francisco’s Financial District. The project, showing unlikely optimism in commercial real estate for the city, looks to add nearly half a million square feet of office space, a hotel, and a new fire station for the SFFD. Related California and the City are jointly responsible for the project in a public-private partnership.
