Permits have been filed seeking the approval of renovation of a building at 2449 Dwight Way in Telegraph Hill, Berkeley. The project proposal includes the development of additional four stories of residences into a four-story mixed-use building. The exisiting building was damaged in a fire in 2015 and has been unoccupied since then. Studio KDA is responsible for the design concepts and renovation. Evans Property Co is the property owner.

Berkeley’s Potential New Tallest Tower Proposed for 2190 Shattuck Avenue, Downtown Berkeley

PGIM has filed a pre-application permit for a 25-story mixed-use tower at 2190 Shattuck Avenue in Downtown Berkeley. The filing comes as a modification to prior approved 18-story plans by Mill Creek Residential. PGIM hopes to benefit from Senate Bill 330, passed by the State to assist residential proposals. If the application is approved, 2190 Shattuck Avenue could create 326 new homes by BART and the UC Berkeley campus.

New renderings have been revealed for the six-story residential proposal at 2955 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The development will create 18 new homes, including two as affordable housing. The project owner shared with SFYIMBY that “after almost 3 years of effort collaborating with city departments, we are getting closer to public hearings.”
