A project application has been filed for a 16-story mixed-use apartment tower at 819 Ellis Street, located on the western edge of San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. Construction would replace a three-story garage with 120 new homes by the nearly-complete Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit corridor. JS Sullivan is responsible for the application.
Construction is underway for 1175 Aster Avenue, a transit-oriented apartment complex in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The 412-unit building is within walking distance of Caltrain’s Lawrence Station, connecting riders from San Francisco through San Jose, as far south as Gilroy. Olympic Residential Group is responsible for the master plan, with design by Studio T Square.
Updated renderings have been revealed with detailed plans for the Monarch Bay Shoreline Development project, poised to reshape 75 acres of the San Leandro waterfront. The plans would reshape a swath of surface parking and a portion of an existing golf course into 491 residential units, a 210-room hotel, and shops between Marina Park and the Oakland International Airport in Alameda County. The project is a public-private partnership with the City of San Leandro and Cal Coast Companies.
Sand Hill Property Company has released detailed renderings for the approved 50-acre redevelopment of Vallco Mall in Cupertino, Santa Clara County. Located across the I-280 freeway from Apple Park, ‘The Rise’ will offer a more public mixed-use site with open space, shops, offices, and over two thousand homes. The futuristic proposal features design by the internationally acclaimed Rafael Viñoly Architects.
New renderings are revealed for a five-story commercial infill at 500 Brannan Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project would replace the single-story commercial structure occupied by the popular Marlowe restaurant with offices, retail, and a future restaurant deck.
