The San Francisco Parks Department and Planning Commission have unanimously approved the Three Transamerica redevelopment in San Francisco’s Financial District. Three Transamerica, or 545 Sansome Street, is the second phase of SHVO’s billion-dollar investment in the historic office complex with design by Foster + Partners. Its adaptive reuse will create a new gateway for the city’s most iconic skyscraper.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed for development at 2930 Laguna Street, Union Street, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story single-family home along with renovation work for an existing residence on the site. Designpad/Patrick Perez Architect Inc is responsible for the designs.
New permit activity has been spotted for the proposed six-story apartment complex at 1196 Columbus Avenue in North Beach, San Francisco. The proposal would bring 56 group housing apartments to the northwestern corner of the historic neighborhood, close to the Fisherman’s Wharf. Centrix Builders is responsible for the development.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a 4024 25th Street in Noe Valley, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction if a four-story residential building to be used as a two-family dwelling with a garage. Plans call for the demolition of a two-story residential building under a separate permit. John Maniscalco Architecture is responsible for the designs.
Demolition and new building permits have been requested for the 11-story apartment proposal at 1500 15th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The filing is a significant step and one of the last remaining ministerial hurdles for the first of two towers by the same developer overlooking the same intersection, one block from BART. Elsey Partners is responsible for the application.
