Development permits were filed seeking the approval of a new five-story building at 212 Ritch Street in the South of Market district in San Francisco. The project proposal includes constructing a commercial building offering restaurant space on the ground floor and office space on the four floors. YA Studio is managing the design concepts and construction of the mixed-use commercial project rising to fifty-five feet.

Number 46: One California Street, Financial District, San Francisco

Coming in as the 46th tallest tower in the Bay Area planned or built is One California Street in the Financial District of San Francisco. While it is not high on the list, the building holds an extraordinarily prominent position looking over two entrances to the busy Embarcadero BART station along Market Street and nearby the San Francisco Ferry Building. The building topped out in 1969 at 438 feet, making it the fifth tallest skyscraper in the city until 1971.

Final Steel Beam Installed On Top 415 Natoma street, plus New Renderings of 5M, SoMa, San Francisco

Brookfield Properties has officially marked the ceremonial topping out of 415 Natoma Street, the largest office building to do so in San Francisco this year. The 395-foot structure is the largest of six planned buildings in the mixed-use 5M Development in SoMa. Three buildings will be newly constructed, while the other three are adaptively reused historic renovations. Once complete, 5M will create 856 new homes, of which 245 will be affordable, 853,000 square feet of Class A office space, 49,000 square feet of new public open space, and an array of retail spots. Brookfield is developing the project in partnership with Hearst.
