The building, which is currently a large single-family home, will be converted to make way for two new residential units. An additional dwelling unit is planned for the building as well, which would bring the unit count of the property up from one single-family residence to three apartment units.
Construction has topped out for the five-story affordable housing project at 3001 24th Street in the Mission District of San Francisco. The project will provide 45 new units for senior citizens in a retail and transit-rich thoroughfare. Mission Neighborhood Centers and Mercy Housing are responsible for the development, after purchasing it from Pepsico nearly twenty-five years ago.
