New building permits have been filed for 2550 Irving Street, a 100 percent affordable housing project in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The seven-story project will create 90 units less than a block away from Golden Gate Park. The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is responsible for the application.
Construction has wrapped up on Prism, a 13-story apartment building at 1028 Market Street in Mid-Market, San Francisco. The project has added 185 new homes to the city’s market, with interiors by IwamotoScott Architecture. The Olympic Residential Group and Tidewater Capital are responsible for the development.
Construction is moving quickly for Mission Rock, the mixed-use waterfront development with offices, housing, and public open space in Mission Bay. Crews have started with the first four of eleven new structures to replace 28 acres of surface parking once used for the San Francisco Giants Oracle Park visitors. Partial demolition work has started on the vacant warehouse at 901 16th Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The property will soon be built up with a new location for the San Francisco Wholesale Flower Market. 901 16th Street LLC is listed as responsible for the development.

The application comes just over a year after permits were filed for the developer’s adjacent proposal, 650 28th Street. Evoco Architecture and Interiors is managing the design concepts and construction of both residences.
