An extension request has been filed for the proposed redevelopment of 130 Townsend Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The five-story office project, named Ampersand, was approved in 2021, but developer Presidio Bay Ventures hopes to extend the approval’s expiration date for another three years, still hoping to develop the centrally located parcel.
The environmental review process has officially started for the Heritage on the Marina retirement community in San Francisco’s Marina District. The Notice of Preparation for the Environmental Impact Report of the proposed expansion of the Julia Morgan-designed facility has been published. The San Francisco Ladies’ Protection and Relief Society is the property owner.
San Francisco University High School Project has reached structural completion at 3150 California Street, Pacific Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of new additions to the San Francisco University High School project in the form of a three-story structure centered with a central gym, science classrooms, and outdoor space. Truebeck Construction, is the general contractor. Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects is responsible for the designs.
New aerial renderings have been published alongside a development agreement for the proposed Stonestown Mall redevelopment in San Francisco. Brookfield Properties is responsible for the application, which would replace the surface parking surrounding the shopping center into a relatively dense mixed-use neighborhood. The project will be reviewed by the city’s Planning Commission tomorrow.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1133 Anza Street in Inner Richmond, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story residential building with and additional Accessory Dwelling Unit. The project proposes the demolition of the existing two-story two-unit residential building on the site. TECTA Associates is listed as the project applicant.
