A rehabilitation project has been proposed at 1200 15th Street in Mission District, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the rehabilitation and renovation of existing building at the site to create a new headquarters for SFMTA’s Parking and Traffic Enforcement Division.
A project review meeting has been requested for the six-story infill at 220 9th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The plans incorporate the facade of the 1924-built structure as a historical edifice for a 62-unit addition to the neighborhood. SF-based Levy Design Partners is the project architect.
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office has acquired the recently-completed seven-story building at 345 4th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The nearly $53 million sale will facilitate TECO-SF’s move out of their current Downtown location by the Transamerica Pyramid and Chinatown at 555 Montgomery Street. 4th & Harrison SF, LLC, linked with the Newport Beach-based Tarsadia Investments, is listed as the project sponsor.
Crews have topped out on the seven-story life sciences development at 1450 Owens Street in San Francisco’s Mission Bay. The steel frame stands 109 feet above street level, rising over I-280, while the site’s ground floor is visible to passing Caltrain riders. Truebeck is the general contractor, and Alexandria Real Estate Equities is the project developer.
Excavation work is underway at Mission Bay South Block 14, preparing to construct the San Francisco neighborhood’s new public school. The facilities will sit on a 2.5-acre site, opening up classrooms and community facilities to boost all students and teachers in the San Francisco Unified School District system. DLR Group is the project architect.
