Broadway Cove and 735 Davis Celebrate Their Grand Opening In Embarcadero, San Francisco

Mayor London N. Breed and the City of San Francisco recently celebrated the grand opening of two new affordable housing developments located at 88 Broadway in Embarcadero, San Francisco. The two housing developments are named Broadway Cove and 735 Davis. Broadway Cove consists of 125 permanently affordable apartments for families, while 735 Davis consists of 53 units for seniors. BRIDGE Housing and The John Stewart Company are the project developers. Leddy Maytum Stacy is responsible for the design concepts, and Cahill Contractors is also on the project team.

Construction Underway on Yerba Buena Island, San Francisco

San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Island, in the water halfway between the city and Oakland, is being redeveloped with over two hundred apartments. Commuters on the Bay Bridge will have already noticed The Bristol Residences, a newly-clad apartment complex facing the East Bay. Now, groundbreaking has occurred and construction is underway for the Townhomes and the Flats residences. San Francisco-based Stockbridge Capital Group and the developer Wilson Meany are jointly developing for the project. CAHill is responsible for construction.

Number 9: One Rincon Hill at 425 1st Street, SoMa, San Francisco

The ninth tallest tower in the Bay Area planned or built is One Rincon Hill, one of the tallest fully residential buildings west of the Mississippi River. Finished in 2008, the 641-foot tower led the procession of construction that now defines Rincon Hill and the southern portion of San Francisco’s SoMa skyline overlooking the Bay Bridge. Solomon Cordwell Buenz is the project architect.

Meeting Held Tomorrow To Review a Residential Project At 1320 Washington Street, Nob Hill, San Francisco

Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed at 1320 Washington Street in Nob Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new six-story building with a basement. Plans call for the demolition of an existing two-story commercial public parking garage. Handel Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
