The SoMa development will add 416 new dwelling units to the San Francisco housing market, along with retail and an updated home for the City Ballet School. Align Development is the project developer.
Sunnyvale Planning Commission will be conducting a study session to review a proposal for two new hotel buildings at 247-295 Commercial Street, Sunnyvale. The project proposal consists of the construction of two hotels with shared underground parking. The project requires a Tentative Map to allow a site subdivision and merger. Lowney Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction. One Union Studio is the interior designer.
Demolition permits have been filed for a single-story commercial structure to make way for a five-story residential building at 2650 Telegraph Avenue in South Berkeley. The proposal would add 45 new dwelling units, including affordable housing, to the East Bay housing market. Trachtenberg Architects is responsible for the design.
The Oakland Planning Commission has approved the 98th and San Leandro development proposal for a mixed-use district in Elmhurst Park, East Oakland. Located around 921 98th Avenue, construction would add over four hundred new dwelling units to the city’s housing market. Madison Park is the developer for the project.
Developers have announced that construction is expected to begin before the end of the year on The Carlysle, a 21-story mixed-use tower at 51 Notre Dame Avenue in Downtown San Jose. This announcement comes after demolition permits were filed in March. Led by Acquity Realty, the building would add new office space and hundreds of new dwelling units to the San Jose housing market.
