Updated Facade Revealed for 750 Kearny Street Porte-Cochère After Bridge Removal

New illustrations have been revealed and permits filed for the redesigned porte-cochère entrance for the Hilton hotel at 750 Kearny Street, located on the border of Chinatown and the Financial District in San Francisco. The exterior will be renovated once crews remove the Kearny Street pedestrian bridge. Demolition is expected to start later this year with the start of the $66 million Portsmouth Square improvement project.

Plans for Housing at 877 West Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale

Plans have been published for a mixed-use development at 877 West Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. The plans will create 110 townhome-style condominiums and a new three-story medical office building. Silver Lake Foothill LLC is listed as the project applicant.

Plans include creating an expanded fourth floor, rooftop dining room, and removing five parking spaces. Stanton Architecture is responsible for the design.

New renderings have been published for Parkline, the proposed redevelopment of the SRI International Campus in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. SRI is a non-profit scientific research institute best known for its work in developing Siri, the voice assistant on the iPhone. Lane Partners is sponsoring the project.

Recapitalization Announced for Southline Phase One in South San Francisco

Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Lane Partners have announced the completion of a recapitalization for the first phase of Southline in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. Southline is the master plan for 28.5-acre development across from the San Bruno BART Station with 2.8 million square feet of life sciences and offices couched with acres of landscaping and a new public park. Construction has already started for the first of two buildings in phase one.

Planning Commission to Review 55-Story Plans for 10 South Van Ness, San Francisco

The San Francisco Planning Commission will review a request to modify plans for the 55-story mixed-use tower at 10 South Van Ness Avenue in The Hub. Floor areas have been adjusted so that the residential capacity can increase from 966 to 1,012 apartments by adjusting the exterior design or height. Crescent Heights is the project sponsor.

The proposal will create 63 apartments, reduced from previous plans by ten units. Shatara Architecture is responsible for the design, though detailed renderings have yet to be revealed.
