The altered proposal has switched the parking from an above-ground garage to subterranean levels and reduced the overall parking. Gerald Goldbach of Fortune Architects is responsible for the design.
A permit application reveals that JS Sullivan Development has requested a project review meeting to explore preliminary plans for 300 5th Street in SoMa, San Francisco. This follows the story from August 2021 by the Registry, reporting that Realtex Group is looking to sell the fully approved and entitled 130-unit rental project. For now, the application is a preliminary step to receive feedback from the planning department.
An environment impact report has been filed for a project proposed at 640-800 Cesar Chavez Street in Central Waterfront, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of the properties on the site into an electric vehicle service center and charging facility. Cruise, a San Francisco-based company is behind the initiative.
New permit activity has been recorded for 2100 Mission Street, a corner lot on 17th Street, nearby BART in San Francisco’s Mission District. The project will rise six stories, creating 29 new homes and new ground-floor retail. The Toboni Group is responsible for the application.
S. Hekemian Group has proposed to replace a surface parking lot with nearly two hundred homes at 600 McAllister Street, at the edge of Civic Center, San Francisco. The proposal, in the works since 2019, has now been approved for a streamlined environmental review process, per section 15183 of the California Environmental Quality Act, i.e., CEQA.
