New renderings have been revealed for a seven-story commercial complex to rise at Potrero Power Station Block 2 along San Francisco’s waterfront. The project would combine lab space and new institutional healthcare space in a building designed by the internationally renowned architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron. Associate Capital is the project developer.
Development permits have been approved for a 19-story residential tower at 2305 Webster Street in Northgate-Waverly, Oakland. However, project developer Avi Nevo is acquiring the new entitlement during a period when most privately funded projects in Oakland that haven’t yet broken ground are on hold. Peter Ziblatt Law Group is responsible for filing the application on behalf of Segula Investments.
New renderings and updated permits have been filed for a planned hotel at 465-477 Grove Street in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley. The project would replace a now-closed Days Inn hotel in the center of the lively neighborhood. Chirag Investment Group is listed as the property owner.
The Environmental Review Process is underway, with the publication of an Initial Study for the redevelopment of 455 Hickey Boulevard in Daly City, San Mateo County. Palo Alto-based King Asset Management is considering replacing the existing complex with more offices or medical labs. City officials are now asking for public comments on the Initial Study results through late June to inform the Final Environmental Impact Report.
Affirmed Housing Group and the city of San Jose celebrated the official opening of Vitalia, a new affordable housing complex at 3100 South Bascom Avenue. The project will bring 79 units, over half of which will be permanent supportive housing, in the southern San Jose neighborhood of Cambrian.
