Groundbreaking and Rents Revealed for 95th & International, Elmhurst, Oakland

Construction crews have broken ground on the affordable mixed-use development at 9409 International Boulevard in Elmhurst, Oakland. To be called 95th & International, the development will produce 55 new units and a ground-floor health clinic as part of the Better Neighborhoods Same Neighbors city program. The architecture firm Studio T Square is responsible for the design, with JHF Construction as the contractor.

Permits Filed For Mixed-Use Affordable Housing At 2201 Brush Street In Oakland

Permits have been filed seeking the approval of an affordable housing project proposed at 2201 Brush Street in West Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a five-story building featuring 100% affordable dwelling units and space for commercial use. East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) is the project applicant. Pyatok Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

Number 13: 101 California Street, Financial District, San Francisco

101 California Street is tied with two other buildings as the 13th tallest skyscraper in the Bay Area planned or built. The 600-foot office building was complete in the Financial District in 1982 as the third tallest building in the San Francisco skyline. Its round and glassy exterior with a geometric atrium base is an iconic design by the influential architects, Philip Johnson and John Burgee. Hines and the Singaporean Sovereign Wealth Fund are joint property owners.
