San Francisco Planning Commission will be reviewing a request for continuance of a proposed project at 1525 Pine Street in Nob Hill, San Francisco. The proposal includes the construction of a new eight-story mixed-use commercial and residential building. The project proposes to demolish an existing single-story commercial space occupied by a restaurant. Kerman Morris Architects LLP is managing the design concepts and construction. Nicholas Pigott is responsible for the project as property owner, operating through 1525 Pine Street Dev LLC.

New permits have been filed to start excavation work to expand the San Francisco Marin Food Bank at 900 Pennsylvania Avenue on Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The new construction will provide a nearly fifty-percent increase to the built area, expanding the ability to serve those in need. The SF Marin Food Bank are the property owners, while Equity Community Builders is the project applicant to manage development.

Construction Underway for Modera Acheson Commons, Downtown Berkeley

Construction has topped out for the MacFarlane Building at 2111 University Avenue, one of four residential structures rising at the Modera Acheson Commons project in Downtown Berkeley. Each structure makes adaptive reuse of low-rise commercial sites to add 205 new apartments to the Berkeley housing market. Mill Creek Residential is sponsoring as the project applicant after acquiring the site from Equity Residential in 2016.
