Preliminary plans have been filed for a residential infill at 3300 Geary Boulevard in San Francisco’s Laurel Heights neighborhood. The project will replace the fire-gutted former home of the dim sum restaurant Hong Kong Lounge II with a seven-story complex with housing and retail. San Jose-based Jeffery Fu is responsible for the application and filing through Five Stars Investment LLC.
New housing plans are underway for the existing Ace Hardware at 15300 Los Gatos Boulevard in Los Gatos, Santa Clara County. The project aims to replace the store with nearly two hundred apartments. Arya Properties LLC is responsible for the application.
Development permits have been approved for the four-story proposal at 913 Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Downtown Oakland, Alameda County. The project will bring nearly two dozen homes and retail to the site. Paul Chung owns the property.
Commercial new building permits have been filed for a nine-unit residential infill at 1523 E Street in Sacramento’s Mansion Flats neighborhood. The filing is an attempt to revive expired plans previously approved by the city in 2019. The project, however, is much older, with the first planning applications submitted to the city nearly two decades ago in 2006.
A new mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 6531 Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the demolition of an existing commercial building on the site to make way for a new six-story mixed-use complex offering residential and retail uses. Bains Property Inc bought the property for $1.2 million in May 2024.
