Preliminary permits have been filed for an expansive six-story apartment complex at One Harbor Drive in Sausalito, Marin County. The initial plans aim to replace an existing office building with nearly three hundred units. San Francisco-based Bayspring Development Partners is responsible for the application.
A new affordable housing project in Oakland took a major step forward with the recent acquisition of several component lots that will become part of a single larger building’s footprint. The three parcels were purchased by Community HousingWorks, a San Diego-based developer, for a reported 10.2 million.
New development permits have been filed for the adaptive reuse project at 111 Fairmount Avenue in Oakland. The site looks to partially demolish the historic church used by the Oakland Peace Center and replace a large portion of the property with new units of affordable housing. The Oakland Peace Center is partnering with The Unity Council for the completion of the project.
Zoning permits have been filed for a potential residential redevelopment of a two-acre office block at 400 University Avenue in Sacramento’s Campus Commons neighborhood. The project is looking to add a townhouse-style infill to the low-slung residential neighborhood across from the CSU Sacramento Campus. The project is led by Bardis & Miry Development, who purchased the property earlier this year.
Construction crews are making progress on the first phase of Parcel H and a waterfront park in the Brooklyn Basin master plan in Oakland, Alameda County. The development is expected to produce 83 new townhouse-style apartments in a five-story building. Signature Development Group is the project developer.
