The project looks to add a mix of townhomes and single-family housing to an undeveloped field on the outskirts of the city. The Shanghai-based developer Henghou Group is responsible for the application.
Construction financing has been secured alongside a property deal for a seven-story apartment complex at 1271-1279 East Julian Street close to the future Little Portugal BART Station in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The development is now poised to add over three hundred units of affordable housing. Corporation for Better Housing and JSL Real Estate are jointly responsible for the project as the new property owners.

The successful vision proposes a densely packed mixed-use hub that ties together community needs and residential services below hundreds of apartments. The project is currently in its preliminary stages as the team and city enter an exclusive negotiation agreement.
A new project planned in Pacifica begins to move forward with a revised Environmental Impact Report for the site. The project area, located at 570 Crespi Drive, largely consists of a patch of wetlands and requires a detailed environmental review. Raney Planning and Management is responsible for compiling the new report. In terms of ownership, the development area is divided between the City of Pacifica and private property.
