Development Permits Filed for 820 West MacArthur Boulevard, Longfellow, Oakland

New development permits have been filed for a large residential development at 820 West MacArthur Boulevard in the Longfellow neighborhood of Oakland. The project proposal includes merging three lots into one and constructing 92 residential condominiums, ground floor amenity spaces, and private open spaces.
Riaz Capital is the applicant and developer involved with the project. 820 MacArthur LLC is the property owner. Levy Design Partners is managing the design concept and construction.

Oakland’s Jack London Square Ballpark Masterplan Could Host Second Tallest Tower in City

Recently published documents by the City of Oakland show that the Oakland Waterfront Ballpark District project could see two 600-foot towers beside the 35,000-person ballpark. If fabricated today, they would be the tallest skyscrapers in California outside of San Francisco and Los Angeles. Hines’ 622-foot proposal for Oakland at 415 20th Street is the only proposal that would be taller. The Oakland A’s are the project developer and sponsor, operating through the Oakland Athletics Investment Group LLC.

New building permits have been filed for a multi-family residential building at 342 22nd Avenue in Outer Richmond, San Francisco. The permits propose constructing a three-story residence with four dwelling units. The project proposal also includes demolishing an existing two-story two-family dwelling. Richmond Partners LLC have purchase the property. The builders plan to include facade improvements and a make one of the proposed dwelling units ADA accessible.
