Updated plans have been filed for a mixed-use development at 603 Jefferson Avenue and 750 Bradford Street in Redwood City, San Mateo County. The proposal is looking to add housing and offices to an entire block in the heart of the city’s core. The prolific Sobrato Organization is sponsoring the project on behalf of the property owner, the Redwood City School District.
Preliminary permits have been filed for new housing at 1182 Palou Avenue in Hunters Point, San Francisco. The project would add a two-story addition to the existing Eastlake-style Victorian home, alongside the construction of a four-story backyard infill. David Foster of SVC Corporation is listed as the project applicant.
New documents were posted for the Arbor Building, part of the site development at 255 West Julian Street in San Jose. The Downtown site was part of an original proposal to construct a 14-story office building with ground-floor retail space. However, in 2024, SF YIMBY reported on a shift in project plans to create an 18-story mixed-use building.

The proposal, named Bonnington Court, looks to add ten homes to a hillside property surrounded by eucalyptus trees. Mehdi Shafiei and Mahat Marashi are listed as the project applicants.
The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tomorrow for an eight-story apartment complex at 222 Capp Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The proposal aims to replace a surface parking lot with 70 rental apartments, located less than two blocks away from the 16th Street BART Station. 2101 MS Property Holdings LLC, linked with Deutsche Bank, is listed as the property owner and applicant.
