Crews have finished demolition at the 0.9-acre site ahead of construction at 470 West San Carlos Street. The property will soon be developed with a 167-unit assisted living facility in the Diridon Station Area Plan, by Google’s Downtown West masterplan in San Jose. Urban Catalyst is responsible for the project.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 144 Laidley Street in Glen Park, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of two single-family houses with accessory dwelling units (ADU). Plans call for the demolition of a two-story single-family dwelling. EYRC Architects is responsible for the design. FORMA Construction is the general contractor.
Jazzie Collins Apartments has officially opened ahead of schedule at 53 Colton Street in San Francisco’s Hub neighborhood. The six-story building, named after one of the city’s famous social activists, has created 96 new units of permanent supportive housing co-developed by HomeRise and Strada Investment Group. The opening occurred earlier this week with the Mayor in attendance.
Building permits have been issued for the development of 4311 MacArthur Boulevard in Laurel, Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of affordable senior housing in a five-story building. AMG & Associates is responsible for the development. Architects Orange is responsible for the design concepts.
Webcor has announced the groundbreaking for Parcel C2.4, a 22-story residential tower on San Francisco’s artificial Treasure Island. The project will build 250 new rental units with some townhouse-style residences along the sidewalk at Parcel C2.4. The new tower will be a portion of the 8,000-unit master plan by the Treasure Island Community Development joint venture.
