New renderings have been revealed for a residential infill at 1336 Chestnut Street in Marina District, San Francisco. The proposal will replace an existing single-family residence with a new three-unit building, contributing the Bay Area housing market. Michael Hennessey Architecture is responsible for the design.
Conceptual and architectural plans are under review for new buildings at California College of the Arts (CCA) Oakland campus at 5200 Broadway, Oakland. The project proposal includes the demolition of ten buildings and the construction of two new buildings along with other campus facilities. The proposal also includes changes in the landscaped areas on campus. CCA is the property owner. Solomon Cordwell Buenz Architects and Jensen Architects have teamed to draft the conceptual plans, design, and are responsible for the construction.
Santa Clara Planning Commission is reviewing the architectural and conceptual plans for a housing project proposed at 3335 Kifer Road, Santa Clara. The project proposal includes the construction of a supportive senior affordable housing complex with 80 units within the Lawrence Station Are Plan (LSAP). The site is currently occupied by a 8,992 square-foot research and development building and surface parking that are proposed for demolition.
The project is developed and sponsored by Allied Housing Inc. GLO Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction.

The project aims to build a significant residential hub adjacent to Caltrain’s Santa Clara Station, the San Jose city border, and the San Jose International Airport.
