A preliminary project assessment application has been filed, revealing for the first time a proposed 58-story residential tower for 620 Folsom Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Located between Hawthorne, 2nd Street, and Howard Street, the address would create 623 new rental apartments, boosted by the 50% state density bonus. Ground Matrix is listed as the applicant.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 136 Delmar Street in Ashbury Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a three-story two-family dwelling. Plans also call for the demolition of the existing one-story single-family residence. The Armour-Chorebanian Family Revocable Trust is the project applicant. David Armour Architecture is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
The Burlingame Planning Commission has approved the application to build a six-story residential building in the backyard of 1418 Bellevue Avenue, located within walking distance of the retail-rich Burlingame Avenue in San Mateo County. The project benefits from the state density bonus to designate two 15 units as affordable to moderate-income households. MH Architects is managing the design as the project architect.
An updated design has been revealed along with down-sized plans for 2205 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The proposal will create 63 new dwelling units, of which half will be sold below-market rate. Mission Economic Development Agency, i.e., MEDA, is responsible for the development as the property owner.
Enhanced preliminary permits have been filed for Apollo, a proposed 16-story mixed-use tower at 32 Stockton Avenue in San Jose. The development will rise next to Google’s city-altering Downtown West development by Diridon Station. Apollo would add 406 new units to the city’s housing market. Urban Catalyst is responsible for the development.
