Permits have been filed to request the construction of a four-story student housing project at 6409 Folsom Boulevard in East Sacramento. The project would add 54 new apartments and retail across from the California State University Sacramento campus. Placer County-based Epic Global Real Estate Advisors is assisting in the project.
Planning permits have been filed for The Jacquelyn, a three-story mixed-use development at 1114 22nd Street in Midtown, Sacramento. The project would replace a parking lot with two retail spaces, a private art gallery, and an apartment. Urban Elements, led by company President Julie Young, is the project developer.
A preliminary proposal has been submitted for a new residential project at 71 Vista Montana in San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of affordable housing. Santa Clara County-based Charities Housing Development Corporation is the project developer. David Baker Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Permits have been filed for a three-story mixed-use development at 375 Parker Avenue in Rodeo, Contra Costa County. Rodeo is a relatively small town of roughly 8,700 residents along Interstate 80. The proposed development would create 22 new units and ground-level retail at the intersection of Parker Avenue and Fourth Street.
A recent planning application has revealed new renderings for the community-oriented mixed-use building dubbed ‘The Village.’ The project is set to rise at 80 Julian Avenue in the Mission District of San Francisco. Friendship House Association of American Indians is listed as the property owner and developer. The project organizers describe 80 Julian as a ‘social services, cultural & spiritual center envisioned by an inter-tribal coalition of Native American organizations.’
