The 29th tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built is 706 Mission Street, the nearly complete residential building operated by Four Seasons Private Residences in SoMa, San Francisco. The skyscraper tops out at 510 feet to be the tallest building in the region actively under construction since activity on the Oceanwide Center was halted last year. Westbrook Partners is responsible for the development through 706 Mission Street Co LLC.
Demolition crews have cleared much of the three structures at 2750 19th Street to make way for a proposed mixed-use building in San Francisco’s Mission District. The brick wall facade is being preserved and will be integrated into the future project, named Fitzgerald. Align Real Estate is responsible for the development.
Permits have been filed seeking the approval of new apartments at 1901 8th Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of residences above Insight Coffee Roasters near downtown Sacramento. Williams & Paddon Architects and Planners is managing the design concepts and the construction. Urban Elements LLC is the developer. Fulcrum Redding LLC is the property owner that purchased the property in 2015 for $3.4 million.
A new apartment building overlooking Market Street is nearing the opening point. Crews have begun dismantling the crane for 1028 Market Street in the southeast corner of San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. The project will produce affordable and market-rate housing blocks away from two BART Stations. The Olympic Residential Group and Tidewater Capital are responsible for the development.
The general plan referral application has been filed for a proposed seven-story affordable housing building at 2550 Irving Street in San Francisco’s Sunset District neighborhood. The mid-density development would add 98 new units extending from 26th to 27th Avenue. The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is responsible for the project.
