A new residential expansion project has been proposed for development at 590 Baker Street in North of Panhandle (NoPa) in San Francisco. The project proposal includes the increase in the number of the residential units in an existing residential building on the site.
Renderings have been published for the eight-story apartment infill at 2037 Durant Avenue in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The multi-family project will replace a single-story auto-oriented building with 74 homes within walking distance of UC Berkeley and BART. Studio KDA is the project applicant and sponsor.
A residential project has been approved for development at 2481 Deerwood Drive in San Ramon. The project proposal includes the development of a townhome community consisting of ten three-story buildings. Plans call for the demolition of the existing commercial office building on the site. Trumark Homes is the project applicant. Sieva Property LLC is the property owner.
Two mixed-use projects have been proposed for lots adjacent to the Lawrence Caltrain Station in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. Both 1154 and 1170 Sonora Court will rise seven stories tall with nearly three hundred new rental apartments above commercial office space. SKS Partners is the project applicant, sponsoring the owner, A&F Properties.
San Mateo County has awarded $22 million of state funding for Eucalyptus Grove, an eight-story affordable housing infill at 1875 California Drive in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The plan will bring 69 new homes near the Millbrae BART and Caltrain Station. The neighborhood has seen plans for many apartment and life sciences projects approved or under construction, including the nearly-completed Gateway at Millbrae project and the recently ground-broken AVIA project by Longfellow. CRP Affordable is responsible for the development.
