Construction is expected to start this April for the seven-story affordable senior housing proposal at 4200 Geary Boulevard in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The update has been announced by the project developer, the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation. Once complete, the project will offer 98 new homes for residents earning between 15-50% of the Area Median Income.
New building permits have been filed for the affordable housing and healthcare proposal at 3050 International Boulevard in Fruitvale, Oakland. The five-story project will create 76 residences and a dedicated facility for the Native American Health and Cultural Center. Satellite Affordable Housing Associates is responsible for the development.
Permits have been filed for a new residential project proposed for development at 1517 E Street in Mansion Flats, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of 16 homes, replacing an existing two-story commercial structure. The now-vacant building had been occupied by the SPCA Thrift Store. Tarik Taeha of Pearl Seven Inc is listed as the property owner. MHA Architects is responsible for the designs. H&H Consultant Engineering is responsible for the project architecture, landscaping, MEP, and structural engineering. Rose’s will be involved with civil engineering.
New renderings have been revealed for the five-story affordable housing proposal on Mountain View’s Lot 12 at 1265 Montecito Avenue, Santa Clara County. The project will transform a city-owned vacant building into 120 new homes for residents earning between 30-60% of the Area Median Income. Related California and Alta Housing are the project sponsors.
Planning permits remain active for a six-story residential complex proposed for 6325 Elvas Avenue in East Sacramento. The project sponsor, Tricap Development, has filed an extension for the design review approval first granted in 2019. If built, 6325 Elvas could see 283 bedrooms for student housing open up next to the Sacramento State campus.
