Updated plans have been filed with new elevations for 1526 Powell Street, in Russian Hill, San Francisco. The project will make adaptive reuse of the existing facade distinctively painted for the John J. Delucchi Sheet Metal Works while creating up to 20 apartments. JS Sullivan Development is the project applicant.
A new residential project has been proposed at 1240 Stanyan Street in Ashbury Heights, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new three-story residential building. Plans call for the demolition of an existing two-story residence for the new development to happen.
Construction has topped out and scaffolding removed for 1064 Mission Street, a six-story permanent supportive housing project in SoMa, San Francisco. The building will soon open with 256 studio apartments for adults and seniors in the city. 1064 Mission is a joint venture with the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, Mercy Housing, and the Episcopal Community Services.
Construction funding has been secured for 1330 South Bascom Avenue, a large eight-story multi-family building in west San Jose. The development team received $284 million from an Australian pension and retirement fund to build The Maxwell, the nearly six hundred unit apartment component of the transit-oriented South Bascom Gateway Station masterplan. Newmark announced in a press release that construction is expected to start by the end of the month.
A new mixed-use project has been proposed at 1600 Broadway in Land Park, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a five-story building offering retail and residential spaces. Demolition permits were filed in November of 2019 and subsequently fulfilled. The property had been site to Tower Records, a local fixture selling CDs and vinyl records. Williams + Paddon will be responsible for the architecture.
