Planning permits have been filed for a new seven-story mixed-use building at 2318 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The building comes in the heart of the Mission District, nearly equidistant between the 16th Street and 24th Street BART stations. The structure will yield a total 34 units across all floors. A city developer is not listed on public documents.
Preliminary Project Assessment permits have been filed for a 160-foot mixed-use development between 555-585 Bryant Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Construction is estimated to cost at least $200 million. Plans drafted by Solomon Cordwell Buenz show the an infill with set-backs to afford more direct sunlight to the asphalt. The assessment permit calls for merging seven lots between Bryant and Welsh Street to create a single 33,000 square foot parcel. If approved, the project will bring five hundred new residencies to the city, of which twenty percent will be affordable.
Construction is nearly complete for a four-story mixed-use infill at 2030 10th Street in Sacramento’s Southside Park neighborhood. Located at the corner of 10th and U Street, the project is within walking distance from the city center. The local firm HK3 Development are responsible for the development.
The San Jose planning commission has provided key approval recommendations to construct a mixed-use residential proposal at 1663 Alum Rock Avenue. The developers have named the project ‘the Little Portugal Gateway,’ for being in the Little Portugal neighborhood of San Jose. It will be a substantial mid-density increase to the currently low-density area. 123 new apartments will be built, ranging from studios to two-beds. SiliconSage Builders are responsible for development.
New building permits have been filed to construct an eight-story residential building at 600 7th Street, an undeveloped lot near SoMa’s Design District. The project is being developed by Mercy Housing California, with plans for all 208 units to be 100% affordable supportive housing.
