New renderings have been revealed along with the approval of a one-year extension for the seven-story application at 1870-1876 El Camino Real in North Burlingame. The project would add 169 new residential units within walking distance of San Mateo County’s southern-most BART station in Millbrae. Prime Investors Group LLC is responsible for the project as the property owner.
The 10th tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built is 415 20th Street, a proposed office tower in Downtown Oakland. If constructed, the 622-foot tall skyscraper will rise to be the tallest building in California outside of San Francisco and Los Angeles. Hines is responsible for the 622-foot proposal.
New renderings have been revealed for Pier 70 Parcel A, part of the 28-acre Pier 70 mixed-use development along the San Francisco waterfront. The new illustrations came along with the refilling of the project’s development agreement, providing a detailed project description. Brookfield Properties is responsible for the project.
The San Jose Planning Commission is scheduled to vote on the mixed-use residential development at 2880 Alum Rock Avenue, east of Downtown San Jose in the Alum Rock neighborhood. The proposal would create two structures with 164 new residential units and 7,500 square feet of commercial space. Pacific West Communities is the property owner.
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is scheduled to consider an appeal of 469 Stevenson Street, a proposed 27-story mixed-use addition to SoMa. Filed by the Yerba Buena Neighborhood Consortium, the appeal claims the project’s environmental review was inadequate and unsafe. Both the project developer and city staff rebuke each claim as inaccurate and an attempt to stall the high-rise residential addition to the neighborhood.
