Development plans are moving forward for a six-story mixed-use building at 961-971 Meridian Avenue in the Willow Glen portion of San Jose, southwest of the city center. The proposal calls for an entirely affordable housing project with 233 residential units in a growing residential neighborhood. ROEM Development Corporation is the project developer and sponsor.
A pre-application permit has been filed for a 5.6-acre mixed-use development at 3521 Homestead Road in Santa Clara. The project would create residential townhomes, affordable housing for seniors, on-site retail, and a large hotel. The listed applicant, SBH Homestead Properties LLC shares an office address with the private equity company Cypress Investments.
An application has been filed requesting land use and development permits for a new mixed-use development nearby BART at 530-625 South Broadway Avenue, as part of the Orbisonia Heights project in Bay Point, Contra Costa County. The project will yield 345 units, retail, and a library to be built across three phases. The project developer and application have not been revealed, though the city did share a solicitation request years ago.
New renderings have been revealed for the 19-story mixed-use tower proposed for 530 Sansome Street in the Financial District of San Francisco. Proposed just a block from the Transamerica Pyramid, the new high-rise would demolish two buildings, retaining the function of an existing low-rise fire station and produce 200 new hotel guest rooms. Related is sponsoring the project through EQX Jackson SQ Holdco LLC with the San Francisco Bureau of Real Estate and the San Francisco Fire Department.
Contra Costa County Planning Committee will be reviewing plans for a new two-story commercial building at 100 Lafayette Circle. The new 13,000 square feet mixed0use structure will replace the building destroyed by fire.
