The City of San Jose planning commission has tentatively scheduled to review plans for a seven-story mixed-use development at 1530 and 1544 West San Carlos Street in San Jose’s West San Carlos neighborhood. The proposal would add 173 new apartments to the Silicon Valley housing market along with communal area and commercial space. Urban Villas LLC is responsible for the development.
Renderings have been revealed for a new six-story mixed-use building at 5012 3rd Street in Bayview, San Francisco. The project will add 29 apartments to the city’s housing market, including on-site affordable housing. The property owner is managing the development through Third Street Partners LLC.
525 Market Street is tied as the 26th tallest building in the Bay Area planned or built. The structure has a 529-foot pinnacle above SoMa, contributing over a million square feet of office space to San Francisco’s central business district. John Carl Warnecke is the architect.
A preliminary application has been filed for a new project proposed at 3801 Telegraph Avenue in Mosswood, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story residential building with commercial space. An existing one-story commercial building will be demolished. Real estate development firm Riaz Capital is the project developer. Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects Inc is managing the design concepts and construction.
New plans have been published for a two-story addition above the World War Two Pacific War Memorial Hall at 809 Sacramento Street in Chinatown, San Francisco. The development would create a two-story addition containing a three-bedroom dwelling unit. Nie Yang Architects is managing the development and design.
