This morning, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors Budget and Finance Committee meeting will consider providing millions for the stalled affordable housing project at 78 Haight Street in Hayes Valley. The project developer, TNDC, started work in 2022 but was stalled after a neighboring property owner complained about construction compromising their structure’s foundation.
A new affordable residential project has been proposed for development at 1315 31st Avenue in Fruitvale, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of 100% affordable housing on a site that was home to Ghost Ship, a warehouse that caught fire in 2016. Demolition of existing structures is proposed under a separate permit. 3073 International LLC is listed as the owner. Mithun is responsible for the designs.
New plans have been submitted for a six-story apartment complex to rise at 605-613 Bridgeway in Sausalito, Marin County. The proposal will bring 47 homes and five retail shops along the city’s picturesque waterfront, including six affordable units. Linda Fotsch is the property owner and applicant for the project, filing through Willy’s LLC.
Increased plans have been filed for the empty lot at 344 14th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. The eleven-story project will now add over a hundred rental units more than the plans YIMBY covered in late 2020. MX3 Ventures is the project applicant.
New renderings and a new building permit for 2000 16th Street in Richmond Grove, Sacramento, have been published. The five-story proposal will bring over a hundred homes near The Ice Blocks and Downtown. Mutual Housing is the project developer working with the Capitol Area Development Authority.
